I was Co-Founder and head of marketing and later Front-end Developer at Wink (WinkApp was a Flea-market for second-hand clothes with over +100K users). Wink was an eight-person team consisting of three developers working on Android and iOS apps with Python for the back-end, 4 Marketers (which I was head of), and the CEO/product designer. The entire website was designed by myself, besides my marketing responsibilities. After March 2019, Apple banned all Iranian applications from the Apple Store, and we lost our iOS app with over 50K users. Because We were in crisis and didn't have enough time and extra budget to hire a Front-end Developer, we (I and our CEO) finally decided to create a PWA for our iOS users with all our native app services. I made a PWA with vanilla javascript and jQuery with different services like listing service: including upload listing, edit, search and explore listing, comment service, live chat system for selling a listing, profile service with customizing their profile, customized explore listing for every user base on their likes and profile information and more.
